Shopped there recently. Nice, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Well-organized and well-stocked store. Great prices. Easy parking. Keep up the great work!!

The staff I worked with all deserve a legit 5-out-of-5 (not the default "5" you give if you have no complaints). They were knowledgeable, polite, and patient. If I didn't live 45 minutes away, I would visit this location for my general home improvement needs again. My grievance is with the disconnect between the information on the website and what the store charges for labor. I shopped around for a new transponder key, and was quite pleased when I found that - according to the ACE website - key programming was FREE (see screenshot). I completed my transaction online and went to the store for cutting and programming. Both of those processes went smoothly and quickly, but when I was ready to say my goodbyes I was asked to pay their $25 programming fee. Neither the confirmation email I received nor the paperwork they had on their end reflected the "Free programming", so after a bit of back and forth I agreed to pay an additional $15 for labor (as, again, I was impressed with their service). FRANCHISE MANAGER: I am NOT looking for any reimbursement or compensation. When I hit "Post", I am crossing this off my to-do list and moving on with my life. Were I in your shoes, however, I would want to know about a discrepancy between what the corporate website promises and what my store policies call for. FUTURE CUSTOMERS: Call ahead for independent confirmation. Surely there are other services that require an additional labor cost beyond what the website indicates.

Always enjoy my trips to Costello's Ace Hardware of Cockeysville. First off, no relation. Second, the store is always well stocked and has just about anything you need. Third, I've been there so many times I can find what I need within 30 seconds. Great spot! Helpful staff!

Could have been more helpful instead of having me hunt of the item down the aisle and the wrong aisle.
